This workshop, organised as part of EU Green Week 2025, explores how synthetic zeolites contribute to circular economy practices by reducing industrial waste and enhancing resource efficiency.

The event focuses on innovative air treatment solutions in waste management. In particular, the LIFE ABATE project showcases how it addresses emissions, odour control, and energy efficiency to help create cleaner, more sustainable waste treatment facilities. Z-ONA4LIFE has been invited to present how the project addresses waste management.

On 4 June 2025, the Z-ONA4LIFE project consortium gathered for its mid-term meeting to review the key advancements made across all work areas and to plan the next steps toward the project’s final objectives.

On the 9th of May, Z-ONA4LIFE participated in the Science and Innovation Fair in Gijon.

On 8 - 9 April 2025, the Z-ONA4LIFE consortium met in Gijón, Spain, for two key project milestones: an internal coordination meeting and the Second Project Review with the CINEA agency.

On 24 March 2025, the Z-ONA4LIFE project team convened for their 4th Scientific and Technical Committee Meeting online.

LIFE REPLAY - Conference on the end-of-waste criterion

Rafael Carrizosa, researcher at IETcc-CSIC, project coordinator of Z-ONA4LIFE, will be in attendance at the 6th Euro-Asia Zeolite Conference (EAZC-2025) to present two posters related to the efforts and accomplishments of Z-ONA4LIFE.

On 17 December 2024, the Z-ONA4LIFE project consortium convened online for the 3rd Scientific and Technical Committee (S&TC) Meeting and 2nd Dissemination and Exploitation Meeting.

We are pleased to announce the inaugural Conference on Zeolites: "Sustainable Zeolites: Advances in Synthesis and Applications". This conference provides a platform for researchers, scientists, and industry professionals to convene and exchange knowledge on the latest advancements in zeolite research and applications. The selected works can be presented either by oral presentation or as a poster.

On 4 October, an internal working meeting between INDEREN, Ferrosadim, Alusigma and CSIC was held to discuss the design of the pilot plant.

On 18 September 2024, the Z-ONA4LIFE team convened for their Quarterly Monitoring Meeting.
