Aurora López-Delgado, Research Scientist at IETcc-CSIC & project coordinator of Z-ONA4LIFE was recently interviewed by Alberto Velazquez from Vocento, in a segment entitled “Buena Huella”, which investigates technological activities dedicated to positive environmental footprints. 

Z-ONA4LIFE partners from CSIC were onsite in Malaga to showcase how Z-ONA4LIFE innovations are facilitating circularity in the aluminium industry.

Z-ONA4LIFE released video interviews with consortium partners, highlighting efficient aluminum salt slag management and the crucial role of scientific institutions in achieving environmental recovery goals.

Z-ONA4LIFE project aims at valorising hazardous waste by transforming it into zeolites, a high-value material for other industrial sectors. In addition, the project will also promote the widest application of the new Z-ONA zeolite.

The Z-ONA4LIFE project aims to show, at a pilot scale, that synthetic zeolite production is a technically and economically viable method for valorizing aluminum saline slag.
