On 4 June 2025, the Z-ONA4LIFE project consortium gathered for its mid-term meeting to review the key advancements made across all work areas and to plan the next steps toward the project’s final objectives.

The meeting brought together partners from across the consortium to present and evaluate progress on the technical activities. Discussions focused on:

🔹 State-of-the-art analysis and pre-treatment of industrial wastes for zeolite synthesis
🔹 Laboratory-scale production of Z-ONA zeolites
🔹 Design, development, and start-up of the pilot plant for Z-ONA zeolite production
🔹 Impact monitoring and evaluation of the project's environmental, economic, and social performance
🔹 Efforts towards the dissemination, sustainability, replication, and exploitation of project results

The meeting was also an opportunity to align on communication and outreach strategies, with the aim of increasing the visibility of Z-ONA4LIFE’s innovative work and ensuring its impact reaches policymakers, industry stakeholders, and the scientific community.

As the project moves into its next phase, the consortium remains focused on demonstrating the feasibility of producing high-value synthetic zeolites from industrial waste, supporting the EU’s circular economy and sustainability goals.
