Collaboration

Cobre Las Cruces (CLC) is a mining and metallurgical company operating in Seville, Spain, since 2009. The company initially operated one of the world's most advanced hydrometallurgical copper operations and is now developing a next-generation polymetallurgical project (PMR) to produce copper, zinc, lead and silver, all of them strategic metals for the energy transition and European industry. The PMR has been recognised as a Strategic Project under the European Union's Critical Raw Materials Act.

The collaboration between Z-ONA4LIFE and COBRE LAS CRUCES enables the assessment of the adsorption performance of the Z-ONA zeolites for industrial wastewater treatment and supports the validation of the project's results.
