Rocío Jarabo
(PhD in Chemical Sciences, Project Manager) Her research career has focused on the development of sustainable cement-based materials, natural and recycled fibres, concrete durability, and additive manufacturing applied to construction. During her predoctoral stage, she participated in national research projects and R&D contracts with companies such as UNION FENOSA and TOLSA, and completed a research stay at the University of São Paulo (Brazil), specialising in composite materials.
She later carried out her research activity at the Eduardo Torroja Institute for Construction Sciences (IETcc-CSIC), working on concrete durability, eco-efficient materials, and self-healing cementitious systems. Between 2016 and 2023, she led the Materials Department at A3D Additive Printer S.L. through a Torres Quevedo postdoctoral contract, leading the development of large-scale 3D printing materials for construction and participating in national and international innovation projects funded by programs such as H2020, NEOTEC, and Industrial PhD programs of the Madrid Regional Government.
Since 2023, she has worked at the IETcc-CSIC in the Projects Department. In her role as financial manager, she is responsible for financial management and supporting the coordination of European and international projects, including the LIFE-2022-SAP-ENV-ZONA4LIFE project.
