José Manuel Moreno holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (2019, Extraordinary Award). After completing research stays at various institutions (Université de Cergy-Pontoise, University of Jaén, Innovarcilla Foundation), he joined the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2022 as a Professor in the Department of Geology and Geochemistry. His research mainly focuses on the development of sustainable advanced materials. He has more than 40 publications in high-impact journals, 5 patents, and has led 3 competitive projects as Principal Investigator, as well as several technology transfer projects for companies.
