Georgi Vayssilov is professor at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Bulgaria. He graduated and obtained PhD in the Sofia University and spent two years as Humboldt fellow in Technical University of Munich. His research interests are in the field of computational chemistry and its application to heterogeneous catalysts with focus on zeolites and reducible oxides. He has 170 publications in peer reviewed journals. Prof. Vayssilov served as President of the Federation of European Zeolite Associations and currently is member of the Council of the International Zeolite Association.
