A graduate in Geological Sciences and a PhD in Earth Sciences, she is senior researcher at Institute of Methodologies of Environmental Analysis (IMAA) of CNR. She specializes in the synthesis of zeolites from waste materials and natural sources and their application to solve environmental problems. This research has led to her being the inventor of an international patent; publishing numerous scientific articles in international journals; participating in international and national conferences; participating in the organization of international conferences and national schools of scientific development; and conducting scientific research projects.
