On 21 September 2026, the Z-ONA4LIFE consortium gathered online for its 6th Quarterly Monitoring Meeting to assess progress across all work packages and coordinate activities for the coming months.
The scientific and technical session brought together all consortium partners to review ongoing activities. Discussions centred on the latest results from the application of Z-ONA zeolite for wastewater treatment, led by COGERSA and CSIC, as well as the current status of the first pilot plant at Alusigma's facility and the advancement of the second demonstration plant under development at COGERSA's site.
Beyond the technical updates, the consortium reviewed progress on dissemination, communication, and exploitation activities, including ongoing synergies with other EU projects and the business strategy being developed to support the international market uptake of Z-ONA zeolite.
A dedicated update was also provided on the preparations for the 2nd Conference on Sustainable Zeolites, scheduled for 5–6 November 2026 in Madrid and online, a key milestone in the project's outreach agenda.
